BankAxept is the national payment system in Norway, and eight out of ten card payments in stores are through our system (more than 5 million transactions per day!). We handle both physical and digital payments in real time through the use of a chip and PIN, contactless NFC, and mobile/wearables. Additionally, our platform is used internationally to enable mobile payments around the world.
In the summer of 2018 we joined forces with Vipps and BankID to create Norway’s most secure, trusted and reliable payment network with the strongest identity provider in Norway.
Our most business critical payment systems are written in Java 11 using an Oracle RAC database. We use Spring Boot, Maven, Tomcat, and continuously integrate and deploy with GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible. Because security is core to what we do, we deal a lot with cryptography and related technology such as HSMs. Additionally, we do some integration work with quite a few payment systems here in Norway and internationally.

What you will do:
You will design, build, deploy and maintain the core of BankAxept’s products, services and APIs. This involves further developing the BankAxept Scheme in Norway as well as growing our international tokenization service.
Our systems handles people’s money so we make sure we do it securely (the financial authorities here also very much care that we do it securely). Most of our systems are within the PCI-DSS scope. Living up to these strict industry requirements for handling personal data and money transfers makes us part of the vital infrastructure that payments play in everybody's life today.
